What is one social aspect that only the millennials truly understand?  The hashtag.  Only millennials have learned to categorize their lives into short hashtags.  What does this mean for recruiters?  Another way to connect!  While only 10% of the workforce may actively be looking for a new job online, nearly 90% of this generation is participating in the conversation.  A hashtag is a way to connect with a large percentage of the millennial generation.  This is a way to start the buzz and let some qualified candidates think about switching over to your company. One thing that has cursed our generation is comfort.  Young adults feel happy to have a steady income even if it is not their dream job.  recruiters can use the hashtag to spread the work that their dream job awaits.  It’s time to seize the day… CARPE DIEM!
